FUTURE FACES
After two years of work, Euphoria is the first album of Swiss post-punk/cold wave band Future Faces. Written by Alexandre Muller (H E X, Equus), Matthieu Baumann (Elizabeth, Capital Youth) and Eduardo Garcia (Equus), each of the eight songs has its own character, fluidly blending layers of guitars and synthesizers over ethereal or more upbeat tracks. « Euphoria » is a significant departure from the gray, monochromatic vibes of their 2017 EP « Revolt », bringing new colors and textures to their modern, sophisticated reflection of the genre.
Après deux ans de travail, Euphoria est le premier album du groupe suisse post-punk/cold wave Future Faces. Écrites par Alexandre Muller (H E X, Equus), Matthieu Baumann (Elizabeth, Capital Youth) et Eduardo Garcia (Equus), chacune de ces huit chansons à son propre caractère, mêlant avec fluidité des couches de guitares et de synthétiseurs sur des morceaux éthérés ou plus enjoués. « Euphoria » s’éloigne considérablement des vibrations grises et monochromatiques de leur EP Revolt de 2017, apportant de nouvelles couleurs et textures à leur réflexion moderne et sophistiquée du genre.
